Jim Pons was born March 14, 1943 in Santa Monica, California. Jim is a former bass guitarist and singer for several 1960s rock bands, including The Leaves, The Turtles, and Frank Zappa band in the early 70's. In 1973 Pons left the music industry to become the film and video director for the New Your Jets football club.
