Miss Marple and her nephew, novelist Raymond West, embark on a coach tour of historic English houses with an eclectic group of characters at the behest of a late friend who had knowledge of an unsolved murder. Miss Marple is called upon to solve her most perplexing case yet. Upon his death, financier John Rafiel asks her to solve a murder.
She must follow the clues across England to discover the truth of his bizarre request. Mr Rafiel first appeared in A Caribbean Mystery and struck up a begrudging alliance with Miss Marple in order to solve a multiple murder case. This transformed to respect, which carries on through to Nemesis, despite the fact that it isn’t a sequel.

2 de mar. de 2021 · Best Miss Marple portrayer is Ms. Joan Hickson. I read every Agatha Christie at least 3 times over and when it came to how I saw Miss Marple as flesh Joan Hickson was it, just like Agatha herself thought. NEMESIS is one of my favourite books.
Miss Marple's wealthy friend, Mr.Rafiel dies. He has left a clause in his will that if Miss Marple can solve a "certain crime" for him she will receive 20,000 pounds.
