Joshua "Josh" Ryan Freese, född 25 december 1972 i Orlando, Florida, är en amerikansk musiker. Han var medlem i bandet Guns N' Roses från 1998–2000 och spelade med Nine Inch Nails från 2005–2008. Freese har medverkat under inspelningarna av flera av The Offsprings album även om han aldrig har blivit en fullfjädrad medlem i bandet.

Josh Freese’s association with the Foo Fighters didn’t come out of thin air. Having been friends with Taylor Hawkins and acquainted with Dave Grohl for years, Freese’s familiarity with the band’s dynamic made his transition seamless. Growing up in a family of musicians (his father worked as a musical director at the Walt Disney Company and his mother was a classical pianist) he was surrounded by music all of the time, starting to play the drums at the age of seven years old.
