Shocking Pinks. Christchurch, New Zealand. Shocking Pinks is the solo project of New Zealand-based multi-instrumentalist Nick Harte who was a drummer for The Brunettes, among many other groups. Previous Shocking Pinks releases have found a home on labels such as DFA and Flying Nun and two of Harte's albums were given 8+ ratings by Pitchfork.
