Kid Capri begann im Alter von 8 Jahren damit zu Scratchen.Später legte er im Nachtclub Studio 54 auf und verkaufte seine abends gespielten Sets als Mixtapes.Daraufhin erhielt er einen Vertrag bei Warner Bros.
