It would be even sadder if the same fate befalls her podcast because it really is special, keenly observed, droll, heartfelt, and touching on marriage, family, community, and especially the current state of the music business.

She published her first book Girl To City last year.

Amy Rigby. American singer/songwriter. Born Amelia McMahon in Pittsburgh in 1959, she moved to New York City in 1976. She started New York bands The Shams and Last Roundup during the 1980s and early 1990s. She married dB's drummer Will Rigby in the 1980s. Her first solo album, Diary Of A Mod Housewife, was released in 1996.
