Trout was toen al 40 toen hij dit album neerzette.. Er staat, althans in mijn oren, geen enkele misser op, en de live tracks dampen aan alle kanten. Ik denk dat Jimi heel tevreden zou zijn over Trouts interpretatie van Red House. Dit album is het begin van vele zeer goede albums die nog zouden komen. Trout is een bluesrock gigant in optima forma.

My introduction to Walter Trout was via John Mayall's cover of the Trout-penned Life In The Jungle. And like the reviewer from New Zealand, I think Mayall's version is superior. That being said, I am glad that Mayall covered it else I might not have gotten to hear the music of Mr. Trout.

2002 Reissue release. Recorded & Mixed between June 21st and July 9th 1989 @ Electra Studios, Stockholm, Sweden. Live Recordings done @ The Midtfyn-Festival, Denmark, July 2nd 1989 in co-operation with Danmarks Radio/Radio Fyn. Released as a jewel case with a black tray and an 8-page cover booklet.
