The Norwood School is a co-educational community school at the south end of the London Borough of Lambeth, for girls and boys aged 11–18.The school is a specialist Performing and Visual Arts College.From September 2007, the school admitted boys for the first time as it changed its status from a single sex girls' school to a co-educational community school.

Letter about end of term arrangements and start of the Spring 24 term. Published 18/12/23. Good Morning Everyone, A couple of reminders about end of term arrangements and the start of next term. We will be finishing school tomorrow at 12:40pm. There will be a take away lunch for those who would like to pick something up before they leave.
All applicants will be placed in one of seven bands - bursary, five ability bands and a band for those without a test score. Ability banding. All children applying for admission to The Norwood School in Year 7 will be required to take 3 tests: a Verbal Reasoning test, a Numeracy test and a Non Verbal Reasoning test.
The Norwood School is fortunate to have an active and supportive Governing Body, which comprises: The School’s Co-Headteachers. Parent Governors, elected by the parents, carers and guardians of students at the school. Co-opted Governors, who are appointed by the Governing Body in view of their skills and expertise.
