8 de abr. de 2004 · Following the immense success of the Steve Marriott Memorial in 2001, April 2004 saw the staging of One for the Road, the Ronnie Lane Memorial Concert at London's Royal Albert Hall. This intended as a charity concert in aid of Ronnie's family in the UK who lost their home in a fire recently.

Lane moved to Island Records and issued Ronnie Lane's Slim Chance and One for the Road. In late 1976 he joined a short-lived reformation of Small Faces but quit after two rehearsals, to be replaced by Rick Wills (who later played alongside former Small Faces drummer Kenney Jones in the Jones Gang ).
