Tin Machine est un groupe de rock anglo-américain fondé en 1987 et se séparant en 1992.Le membre le plus connu du groupe est David Bowie, alors en quête de rédemption après avoir été descendu par la critique tout le long des années 1980.Il fonde Tin Machine avec le guitariste Reeves Gabrels et les frères Tony et Hunt Sales, respectivement bassiste et batteur.
