The album was produced by Jack Douglas, the producer of Cheap Trick's 1977 debut album, Cheap Trick. Standing on the Edge reached No. 35 on the Billboard 200 and remained on the charts for 18 weeks.

13 de abr. de 2010 · I have all of the Cheap Trick albums. This one ranks in the middle. Standing on the edge, Tonight it's you, Wild wild Women, and How about You are all excellent songs. The rest are just okay. However, very few rock groups can keep putting out new music for this many years and excel at it. If you like Cheap Trick, you will enjoy this album too.
