Cliff Hall. Cliff Hall joined the Shadows for their 1978 tour after having worked frequently with Brian Bennett including six years recording and touring the World backing Cliff Richard. He remained with the Shadows until their final tour in 1990 during which time, his stature among fans grew considerably.
The Cliffe Hall was purpose built in 1989 to provide space for a wide range of community activities. It is owned by The Cliffe Feoffees, a small charity granted in 1603 to support repairs to the St Thomas a Becket Church and to support people in need in The Cliffe Parish—the area was recently widened to be able to support people anywhere in Lewes.
