Curriculum. The Parrs Wood curriculum is designed to offer each student the opportunity to fulfil their potential, through a wide range of onsite non-vocational and vocational qualifications. Our curriculum is ambitious and reflects our school community, allowing all students to engage successfully with education and reach their individual goals.

Parrs Wood High School is a comprehensive school, open to girls and boys of all religions and backgrounds. Admission to Year 7 and other year groups is through the Manchester Admissions Office and follows current City Council policy. In the Autumn Term of Year 6, pupils and their families receive details of how to apply for the high school of their choice.
