2 de jun. de 2023 · About Merv Spence. At the age of 16 Mervyn Spence became the bassist/vocalist for the band Trapeze. When that group broke up, he worked on solo material for a time. In 1983 he became the bass player for Wishbone Ash, replacing Trevor Bolder. He remained in that role until 1986, when he quit to pursue family matters.
