The Vibrators är ett av Storbritanniens allra första punkband. Grundad i London 1976 , har gruppen spelat i över 30 år och är fortfarande aktiv. 'Unpunked' was an acoustic album of old favourites on the band's own Vibrators label and only available directly from the band, therefore never received distribution. Some versions came out very differently from the originals and one reviewer described it like hearing them for the first time again.
With Bennett, the Vibrators cut the albums Vicious Circle, Volume Ten, and Unpunked, between 1989 and 1996. From this point on, the number of personnel changes continued to increase, with Knox and Eddie as the sole constants (and even Knox left the lineup in 2008 for 14 months after an accident).
