It's a testament to Louis Theroux's interviewing technique, even so early in his career, that he got this close to the hidden side of Savile. He recognised it straight away. I admire his pursuit to Jimmy's core, trying to gain his trust in hope that he would let his witty, riddling defenses down. And to an extent, Theroux succeeded in this.
