There are five tracks offered from 1967, nine from 1968, eleven from 1969, eight from 1970, and one from January of 1971. Listening to 'Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac Live At the BBC' is an archival experience.
Does for Fleetwood Mac what Led Zeppelin's BBC disc did for them--establish them as a band that rose above its genre and became something special. Great three-way guitar action, emotion, the lot. Yes, there are some insipid pop tracks, but mostly it's a lot of dirty guitar, throbbing rhythms and some convincing channeling of Buddy Holly, Elvis and a compendium of Chicago bluesmen circa 1956.
