Faces had released their 2nd and 3rd albums the year before, Long Player and A Nod Is As Good As A Wink... to a Blind Horse.Faces members also appeared on Rod Stewart's 1972 album, Never A Dull Moment.

The sound quality is solid throughout, except for the last song, "Away in a Manger." Consider that kind of a bonus track.
