  4. 6 de mar. de 2021 · Ook op Transverse City (1989) doen geen al te kleine jongens mee: Neil Young, Jerry Garcia, J.D. Souther en dus ook David Gilmour. Laatstgenoemde is tevens te zien in de videoclip van Run Straight Down, een sterke rocksong waarvan de boodschap ook nu nog overeind blijft.

  5. 24 de ago. de 2021 · After the album, Transverse City, suffered disappointing sales, Zevon left Virgin and joined Giant Records but never really managed to match his 1970s output. While this hazmat-clad song is certainly creditable in terms of both scope and delivery, it’s still easy to see this his songwriting embers were flickering as opposed to bursting back into flame here.
