Throughout the performance of this Thelonious Monk-Kenny Clarke Jazz standard, Steve projects a feeling of swing 4/4 on top of the swirling rhythms of Afro-Cuban 6/8, Abakwa, mixed together with Dennis Chambers' take on the Bernard "Purdie Shuffle."
