I bought this LP in 1989 when I had everything by Dire Straits, you know when you're 19 you go buy the solo albums from members of bands you are into! In 1988 I bought "Lips Against The Steel" and I like the songs. David was never a big commercial success like brother Mark but he's a good songwriter in his own right and "Release" is a great album.
