If you are new to Adrian Belew, you might be better suited to one of his other works, such as "Twain Bar King","Lone Rhino" or "Desire Caught by the Tail" (personally, I like "Desire of the Rhino King", but of course I ended up getting all four). A less progressive choice for new listeners would be "Young Lions" or "Mr. Music Head".
