7 de may. de 2024 · The first demos created by William and Jim Reid of The Jesus and Mary Chain were recorded on a Tascam Portastudio. These cassette tape demos were sent to Bobby Gillespie (Primal Scream, previously The Jesus and Mary Chain) and Alan McGee (Creation Records), and the rest as they say, is history. 15 de may. de 2024 · The four tracks were previously recorded on a demo by the band (see the attached photos) and the band was sent into the studio by the radio station and laid down the tracks for this radio station compilation. The four tracks were later, in 1991, put on a CD in extremely limited quantity by GFI Music.

Hace 5 días · Tracks 2-8 are Fecal Matter demos, recorded in 1985. Track 9 is a 4-Track demo from 1987. Tracks 10-12 are 4-Track demos recorded in 1988. Tracks 1 and 14 are 4-Track tape collages created in 1988 that contain random snippets of sounds and clips. Track 13 is a 4-Track demo from 1992.
