Delerium 21 August 1999. "The Acid House" is a series of three short stories penned by "Trainspotting" novelist Irvine Welsh, and true to his style, it is inspired by a terribly bad acid trip. Being a huge fan of Irvine Welsh, I had high hopes for this film, but I was also aware that it would most likely not be as good as Trainspotting.
Brief Synopsis. A trilogy of dark, surreal and caustic comedies. In "The Granton Star Cause", Boab finds his life falling apart on all fronts: sacked from his job, dumped by his girlfriend and thrown out of the house by his parents. He meets someone in a pub who radically changes his life and allows him some brief.
