It's a patch of land that naturally grows Carrots, which can be harvested and sold to Muffin Time.It can grow 12 carrots at a time, and as soon as one is harvested a new one begins to grow.

Ashes Town carrots look much like real-world carrots. They are orange with a green leafy top, and have dark lines implying ridges. In the Carrot Farm they have four stages when growing in the ground: a small bud, two leafs, three leafs and the top of the carrot visible through the dirt, and finally three large curled leafs with more of the carrot visible, signifying it is ready to be collected.
A discussion notably occurred in the # ashes-town channel on the Ashes Town Discord Server in which the rename was discussed, as well as what word should be used to described a spent cigarette. Strangely, the changelog introducing the item describes them as 'cigarettes', which was over three years before the name change was adopted.
