Keith David (born June 4, 1956) is an American actor, comedian and singer, known for his work in Platoon, Disney's The Princess and the Frog and The Thing. He reprises his role as the narrator of Ken Burns' documentary Jazz in "Short Cuts".

Lance Reddick is one of a kind, but Keith David sounds like a fitting successor. Agreed. Lance cannot be replaced bc his one of a kind voice, And his actual talent on top of being a great fkn guy by all accounts.
