A View to a Kill marks the end of an era for the James Bond franchise as Roger Moore retires from the role. Moore was 57 at the time of filming and his age started affecting the quality of the films. His declining agility was limiting what action scenes he could do (also bigger reliance on stunt doubles), and the romantic scenes with his younger co-stars now come off as creepy.
