1976 kam mit "Shouting And Pointing" das Ende von Mott (The Hoople). Nigels Stimme beginnt bei manchen Stücken einfach nur zu nerven. Er zieht damit die Band weg von ihrem bisherigen Weg und seine Falsett-Attacken tun fast schon weh. Besonders weil es durchaus auch gelungene Momente gibt.
