Skydog Sanctuary teamed up with Jamie Baldanza (@thismustanglife) to make the short film on our Safe Act Page about three mares we pulled out of the slaughter pipeline. Along with narration by Daryl Hannah (@dhlovelife), many Friends of Skydog spoke up for the horses, donkeys, mustangs, burros, hinnies, mules, and minis of America.
The Journey To Skydog. Blue Zeus is an incredibly special horse to Skydog and the founder, Clare. For years she had followed and admired photographs of this stunning Wyoming stallion and regularly commented on photos of him. For Clare, as long as Blue Zeus was wild and free with his family there was something to fight towards.

We also have an 11 acre ranch in Malibu, California where the horses that aren't ready to, or are not capable of living in a herd enjoy their life.
