John Kenneth Wetton (født 12. juni 1949 i Willington i Derbyshire, død 31. januar 2017) var en britisk låtskriver, sanger, bassist og gitarist. 1 de feb. de 2017 · Hoewel John Wetton na de eerste twee albums bij Asia vertrok, werd de band een vaste waarde in de progscene. Terwijl veel gitaristen, zoals Vinny Burns , Guthrie Govan , Al Pitrelli en Aziz Ibrahim school maakten bij de band en John er door de jaren heen regelmatig ook weer bij was, waren er vooral ook andere muzikale sporen die hij volgde door de jaren heen.
