Der Titelsound "A view. to a kill" von Duran Duran ist hierfür der beste Beweis. Wer allerdings glaubte Bond verkommene zur Plasiksoundikone sah sich getäuscht. Der Titelsong aus "Im Angesicht des Todes" kam sehr dynamisch daher und auch John Barry leistete hervorragende Arbeit.
