He‘s the composer who wrote fragile avant-garde music in the tradition of John Cage and Earle Brown, the innovator who created new concepts of underground rock with his colleagues in the band Henry Cow, and the improviser who developed his very own language on the guitar.
I've always admired Fred Frith as an experimental guitarist, taking the instrument way beyond what you'd expect. Although I don't like all his fragmentary explorations, this CD is certainly a useful release bring together the original GUITAR SOLOS album, his tracks from GUITAR SOLOS VOLUMES 2 and 3, along with five more recent tracks previously unreleased tracks.

Je dlouholetým spolupracovníkem amerického saxofonisty a skladatele Johna Zorna, se kterým nahrál mnoho alb.
