METHOD ACTING. At the core of the Strasberg curriculum are the Method Acting classes. Students are required to take two Method Acting classes per 10- or 12-week term, each with a different teacher. These classes are designed to train the actor in Lee Strasberg’s systematic approach to acting, known throughout the world as The Method.
The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute is authorized under Federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students. At the New York campus, the Two-Year Professional Acting Conservatory is approved. Veteran applicants must complete the same application process as all other Conservatory applicants. Veterans must also submit: Certificate of Eligibility and/or DD-214. Transcripts from all previous study, unofficial transcripts are sufficient.
