One of the more pleasing outcomes of the ongoing King Crimson 40th anniversary releases was the reception and re-evaluation that was afforded to 1971's Islands album. Long over-shadowed by the live reputation of the 1969 line-up that preceded it and the 72/74 line-ups that followed, the band had, up to that point, been under-appreciated.

King Crimson - Live at the Marquee. I bought this CD because it includes a live version of my all time fafourite KC-track: Formentera Lady. The studio version of this number you can find on the KC-album Islands (1971). The studio-version is quite sparkling because of all the percussion sounds like bells, tambourine, cymbals and triangles.
