2 de sept. de 2023 · Death. Vera Ellen died of ovarian cancer at The University of California Los Angeles Medical Center on August 30, 1981. She was 60 years old. She is buried at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Sylmar, Los Angeles. She left behind a legacy of memorable performances that showcased her talent and grace as a dancer and actress.
Vera-Ellen was my favorite dancer, actress throughout the 1940s and 1950s, and was always one of the most respected stars of Hollywood and New York. I have acquired all of her movies on DVD, she had a style other dancers used. She was very beautiful and very respected.
