ICT Trading Strategy – The Silver Bullet. There are a number of trading strategies that ICT teaches, arming traders for all kinds of times and situations within the market. One of these strategies is the well-known ‘silver bullet’ strategy. This strategy provides a very high win rate and typically a great risk-to-reward ratio for traders.
Optimizing Trade Size for Maximum Efficiency The ICT Silver Bullet trading strategy sets clear guidelines for trade size: 10 points or 40 ticks for index futures and a minimum of 15 pips for Forex pairs. This framework is not just about entry and exit precision but aims for the best-case price movement, ensuring high-probability trade setups.
Personally, not a fan. It's FAR too limited, and is for, IMHO, lazy traders who want a "silver bullet" way of trading. It's limited in the sense that, in backtesting, you're missing a LOT of otherwise great trades that aren't confined to the 10 - 11AM guidelines, or you're taking trades counter to where price actually wants to go.
