He’s wearing the opposite of what normal people would wear because of his rejection of society and societal norms. This is the same reason he adopted the name Joker, he’s the opposite of a real joker/jester who would be a fun loving entertainer. Instead he is the evil agent of destruction. Just my opinion though.
