This horror film, from the legendary John Carpenter, is well written, well acted and the special effects hold up very well, even by todays standards. This is a must for any horror fan. Highly recommended! This review is from The Fog [Collector's Edition] [Blu-ray] [1980] I would recommend this to a friend.

The legendary Hal Holbrook, John Houseman, Janet Leigh and Tom Welling (Smallville), too! Not too campy, definitely a classic. Just the right amount of scare and suspense. John Carpenter and Debra Hill definitely made a great film. Also, there isn't really any sex, drugs and women parading around in their skivvies.
