This is one of the few things that bugs me in One Piece though. While I don't need Buggy to be as strong as an actual yonko, the fact that he was in Roger's crew, grew alongside Shanks, and still somehow ended in east-blue and is not even the strongest pirate in the weakest ocean, always felt a bit odd to me.

But Buggy was never someone that I took seriously. This chapter beautifully explained how someone who started how Shanks (Number 6 on my favorites list-Favorite Yonko) did wound up so weak by comparison. Buggy was a broken man, chopped into pieces by Roger's death and Shanks seeming to abandon their mutual desire to find the One Piece.
