Nils Lofgren nació en Chicago en 1951, de ascendencia italiana y sueca. Luego se trasladó con su familia a la ciudad de Bethesda, Maryland. Su primer instrumento fue el acordeón clásico. For me Nils Lofgren came with the release of Cry Tough. What a great album with a killer version of For Your Love and some also great songs of his own. Not a bad track. Then I found out about his first album which hit me was a complete ditto. Then his Grin stuff also really good but not equal to the first two solo records.
