Wings (connu sous le nom de Paul McCartney and Wings) est un groupe de rock britanno-américain fondé en 1971 par Paul McCartney, un an après la séparation des Beatles.Sa formation connaît de multiples variations jusqu'à sa dissolution en 1981, autour d'un noyau dur formé par Paul, son épouse Linda McCartney et Denny Laine, ancien guitariste et chanteur des Moody Blues.

The title track and second single, 'Band on the Run' is one of the most beautifully structured songs McCartney wrote outside The Beatles.

It achieved widespread popularity during the 1970s despite continual personnel changes. In 1971, drummer Denny Seiwell, and ex-Moody Blues guitarist and singer Denny Laine, joined Paul McCartney and wife Linda McCartney to record Paul's third post-Beatles project.
