Requirements for Admission to the Program for Teachers of Adolescent Education (Grades 7-12) ― Latin MA. 1. Bachelor's degree with a GPA of at least 3.0. 2. An index of at least 3.0 in an undergraduate major or the equivalent in Latin or classics. Students must have 30 credits of coursework in Latin. 3.
A student at Hunter College must earn a total of 120 credits to graduate with a bachelor’s degree. These 120 credits must include credits to satisfy the Hunter Core Requirement (up to 42 credits) and to satisfy the requirements of a major field of study (major). Credits for the Hunter Core and for a major usually do not add up to 120.
Yookoso!. Welcome to the Japanese Program of the Department of Classical and Oriental Studies. The Japanese Program was established in 1986. Our program offers two minors - Japanese Language and Japanese Studies - and a variety of courses that introduce the language and culture of Japan and give opportunities for even closer acquaintance with the country for the students.
Internships are available during the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters on a part-time (8-20 hours per week) or full-time (30-35 hours per week during summer).
