Chris Stamp (Londen, 7 juli 1942 – New York, 24 november 2012) was een cineast en later de co-manager (met Kit Lambert) en executive producer van de Britse rockband The Who, tot 1973. Lambert en Stamp hadden tussen 1965 en 1968 ook The Merseybeats, en daarna het duo The Merseys onder hun hoede.

28 de nov. de 2012 · Damn! First Mike Shaw, then Chris Stamp, then Frank. They all passed within a week of each other. It’s been a strange time. I can’t feel sadness though. These three guys were the best, and helped build an industry that still prevails to this day – nearly fifty years on from when they started. Frank was a gem.
