Martika es una cantante estadounidense de música pop, nacida en Los Ángeles, California, el 18 de mayo de 1969. Su nombre verdadero es Marta Marrero, y es hija de padres inmigrantes cubanos. Tika, como la llaman sus amigos, contando con tan solo 12 años de edad, actuó en el magistral filme musical Annie dirigido por el aclamado John Huston.
