On April 14th, 2012, Laura Nyro received a long awaited induction into the Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame.. One of the great singer-songwriters of our time, she released 22 critically acclaimed albums and wrote literally dozens of songs that have become firmly fixed in the popular music canon, from her debut in 1966 at the age of 19 to her untimely death in 1997.
