5 de abr. de 2012 · Layne Staley, the haggard, howling frontman of the hit Nineties metal-and-grunge amalgam Alice in Chains, was found dead in his Seattle condominium on Friday, April 19. He was 34. Police arrived at the singer’s longtime residence late in the afternoon after receiving a call from a relative of Staley’s, who had been unable to reach him.
