The Romantics is the debut album of American rock band The Romantics, released on 4 January 1980 under Nemperor Records giving it the distinction of being the first pop record released in the 1980s. It includes the Billboard Hot 100 hit " What I Like About You ", which peaked at #49.

The Romantics est un groupe américain de pop rock, originaire de Détroit, dans le Michigan. Issu de la génération new wave et post-punk, il est formé en 1977 par Wally Palmar, Jimmy Marinos, Mike Skill et Rich Cole [1]. Les chansons phares du groupe sont What I Like About You ainsi que Talking in Your Sleep.
