Green Day je americká punkrocková kapela, která vznikla roku 1986. Skupinu tvoří hlavní zpěvák a kytarista Billie Joe Armstrong , basista a doprovodný vokalista Mike Dirnt , bubeník Tré Cool a kytarista Jason White , který byl za člena přijat v roce 2012 po 13 letech společného hraní, ovšem v roce 2016 se vrátil zpátky k roli pomocného kytaristy [1] .

Green Day est un groupe de punk rock américain, originaire de Berkeley, en Californie [2]. Formé en 1987 [ 3 ] sous le nom de Sweet Children avant de prendre son nom définitif en 1989 , le groupe est composé à l'origine du chanteur et guitariste Billie Joe Armstrong et du bassiste Mike Dirnt , rejoints en 1988 par John Kiffmeyer , remplacé à partir de 1992 par Tré Cool .
