A Take-off on A Christmas Carol, A Message from Mars is entertaining enough fun. The play is certainly short enough so I decided to reread it due to the recent restoration of the 1913 film of the same name by the British Film Institute. The film varies from play on several minor plot points but both, of course, follow the same basic theme.
