James Hunt's 1976 World Title. The 1976 season was one of the most dramatic in Formula 1 storied history. While Hunt’s McLaren was fast, he was able to take pole at the season-opening Brazilian Grand Prix, it was also unreliable. Hunt would take his first victory in Spain but by this point, Lauda and Ferrari were comfortably in the lead.
James Simon Wallis Hunt (29 Agustus 1947 – 15 Juni 1993) merupakan pembalap F1 asal Inggris yang merebut gelar juara dunia tahun 1976. James Hunt memulai karier F1-nya pada tahun 1973 . Pada 1975 ia bergabung dengan pasukan tim Lord Hesketh, dan Hunt sudah menunjukan bakatnya sebagai pembalap besar saat ia mampu bersaing di barisan depan dengan mobil yang terbilang seadanya.
